Big Cranks

2020 has come to a close and we have to say, good riddance! But, that’s not to say that the year can’t end on a high note like it did for long time client Shane with a brand new Personal Best!

Shane was catching up to 200 fish a day cranking his arms off with the strike king xd 10 rounded off with this massive 12+lb Mexican Largemouth. Congrats Shane!

Swimbait, jig with senko

Josh visited us last week and had the trip that most dream about! 200 fish in 3 days with 12 over 8lbs and a few over 10lbs! The big fish were out and chewing swimbaits and jigs.

We had the absolute pleasure of h  NBA Hall of Famer Rick Barry last week and man did he crush it. Rick was averaging 150 to 200 fish a day up to 10 1/2 pounds. It seems like whatever he threw the fish would  love and he was catching them every cast. Ric hit his goal of 10 poundson the first half-day and everything after was gravy. Crankbait on ledges produce the best fish, using swimbaits to find the fish and then following with the crankbait. And if we needed a break from the rigorous activity of crankbaits, we would just flip a spoon or senko and get fish that way!

Jackson just couldn’t get enough and is back again this month! He visited in October and needed another fix. He picked up right where he left off and is reporting 150+ fish a day with lots of 6-8lb fish and a few giants mixed in! The fish are on swimbaits with the 6” storm in mullet doing the heavy lifting.
