The Utah guys led by Trevor Tippetts have arrived and are killing it. Martin is the hot guide this week with a pair of 10’s and a mess of 8 and 9lb fish on topwater and mage flukes. Yovanni has his clients on the giants with a 10.75 bringing in big fish for the week on a mag fluke and scrounger.
Poncho is hunting swimbait fish and finding a bunch of 7 to 9lb fish on the new Chaddletail swimmers from real prey baits. Fish are in all levels and eating just about everything you can throw. Cranks and traps are also doing well.

Day 2 lake Baccarac: remember how i said yesterday was the best swimbait bite ive ever been on. I lied!!. Today was. Im running out of adjectives to describe this place.
Its only luck if you get 40.5lbs on day 1 and not day 2 lol. Well today we had 41lbs and small change. We had that by 11am today. We had 40.5 lbs on the bull shad alone then i culled a 7.25 with bigger 7lber on the jig. First keeper on the jig so far. But for a while there i was gonna scream if i caught another upper 6lber which we litteraly caught almost 15 that size. Overall 50 plus fish 95% of them burning that 8 inch bull shad.. Literally countless 5lb to 6lb fish.
Kyle Xaiver Hansen had 41.75lbs best 5. Mike Nute and Douglas Bynaker had over 40 as well. Big bass today was yours truly with a 9.9 on the 8 inch bull shad. I lost a dd and dj lost what i think was a teen fish. She hit 10ft from the boat. Unreal size fish. Got no hooks ;(
Like i said im out of adjectives to describe this place. Its like jurassic Park of bass fishing. Im just gonna drop the pics ive got so many im not sure what is what. I took no pics of anything under 7lbs except the fish on the scale (6.5) caught so many in the upper 6s it was pissing me off as they dont get you anywhere when your trying to break 40lb best 5 lol. .

The Numbers have slowed a bit from last week, but there are plenty of fish still to go around. The tail end of Dave Porter’s trip brought in the giants with a pair of DD’s on swimbaits in 15 ft and a whole mess of 7-9lb fish. Dave brought the Waffle House with him.
Tom Johnson flew in on weds and picked up where the others left off bagging a few 9’s of his own. His group is seeing a bunch of 9’s but still looking to crack 10. Jerkbaits being the out of norm hot bait.
It’s on!

This week we are loaded up with clients and they are on the bass!
Jeff Howell and Andy Fabbo are reporting a decent morning topwater bite with fish going deeper as the sun gets higher. Daytime bites coming on flukes, burrito, storm baits, and big spinnerbaits. Finding fish to 8lbs being common with numbers running 50-70 per day.
Ramirez group of 8 is finding them on points with a variety of baits. Lots of 7-8lb fish being taken with an early evening bite being great.
Ed Newell is on the big fish per usual bagging a DD on his first morning out. The unconventional mag fluke on a swinghead jig is loading the boat.
Richard Kendrick has busted his pb 3 times and is on the hunt for a DD, coming close with 9lb class fish.

Finally we are back on the water doing what we do best! Our first clients this season, longtime repeat customers the Archibald brothers, put a hurtin on these bass that haven’t seen lures since the end of March.
Best baits this week were 1oz jig with 7” senko trailer, Texas rig senkos in a variety of colors, magnum flukes and the occasional rattletrap bite. Big fish all came deep in 20 feet with 50 fish days being common. Plenty of bass in the 6 to 9lb range with a few 10lb fish mixed in.
