Senko, burrito

Garrett Hams group is reporting spectacular numbers fishing all over the lake with 7” senkos. They are seeing a ton of quality fish, but are still looking for that giant.

Justin is finding better fish sticking with a burrito swimbait fishing the drop side of ledges and islands.

We are looking for that prespawn swing to happen any moment!

Jigs, burrito

Well, the swimbait bite on main lake points has picked up this week right before thanksgiving! Clint was seeing numbers on jigs earlier in the week, but the last couple of days has seen plenty of 5-9lb fish including a new Pb fishing burritos in 20ft.

Brad knocking it out of the park on the front end of a tough bite. Big fish coming in at 10-7 on a chatterbait/swimbait combo. I think what we are seeing now is actually a false spawn. We’ve actually found some fish with eggs and they aren’t due to start spawning for another few months. Some recent cold nights coinciding with the last full moon looks to be the culprit

Bullshad, Real prey, rattletrap, jig

The big baits have gotten the best bites lately with big jigs, bullshad, realprey, burrito all accounting for the big fish. There’s still a morning and evening topwater bite if you hit the right areas.

if you want to load the boat, rattle traps have been crazy along with 5” storm shad, and cranks.

The swimbait universe crew is here again with a full house and sticking true to their name. Best bite so far has been the swimbaits, with crankbaits, traps, and cranks bringing up the rear.

The week started off hot with two DD fish on topwater with Trevor and Chris each getting one fishing with guide Sylvano.  There has been a bunch of 9lb fish since on traps, topwater, swimbaits, and Bullshad, but the numbers are down a little from last week.
