The water temp has dropped and the bass are suspending a little. The recent clouds have produced some topwater action but not nearly the topwater action we had in November. Good numbers of 6 to 9 pound fish being caught using senkos and the special flukes we have in the tackle store. White spinnerbaits working midday. Sonny’s Cove loased with fish right now

Happy New Year from Lake Baccarac Lodge. The recent weather changes have us thinking a little bit about the next patterns that will be present on Lake Baccarac. With some very cold and cloudy weather recently over the area the the fish have suspended near the available cover. Mr Vernon Grizzard from Georgia who arrived 2 days ago found 11.6 pound Bass throwing a HUGE senko, others in his group caught 50 bass this afternoon using white flukes and white spinnerbaits. Yes the patterns have changed but the fish can still be caught. Until the cold weather passes patience will be the key during your bait presentations. Lake Baccarac Martin has been doing an excellent job targeting the suspended Bass
